Whitetail Buck Deer
From the north American deer family, male deer, called bucks, are easily recognisable in the summer and fall by their prominent set of antlers, which are grown annually and fall off in the winter. During the mating season bucks fight over territory by using their antlers in sparring matches. "White-tail" refers to the underside of the deer's tail which it displays when on alert.
