Birgu, or Vittoriosa, is one of the three fortified cities in the East of Malta, overlooking the Grand Harbour. Modern day Birgu showcases Maltese tradition across narrow winding streets, alleyways, and converted townhouses. Wine bars, elegant restaurants, and the Birgu waterfront have brought new life to the small city.
