Iconic London
The Palace of Westminster has endured raging fires, sieges and Brexit. It has its own post office, hair salon, rooftop, gym and pub. St Paul’s was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1967. Funerals were held there for Florence Nightingale, Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher. With over 400 workers, building for the Tower Bridge bridge began in 1886 at the height of the Victorian era. The bridge is crossed by over 40,000 people every day.
